My iPod Touch logged the above update several days ago from The Awl’s newsstand app, but all I could translate was “CHOIRE” (bless our nightmarish dystopic existences here, the internet has something for everyone including a freakin’ morse code translator). Anyone else know what this message says?

Did you know there is a Flickr group called Beer and Sunsets? Did you know nobody loves a sunset like Choire? (“nobody loves a sunset like me!”)

If I could snap my neck, it’d be rollin’ in her direction right about now.

Never forget.
It’s probably not a good thing that I align myself more firmly with the community surrounding The Awl rather than the site’s content itself.
LIVE FROM THE MANHATTAN BRIDGE.
Ugh, not only does Crush Choire offer the finest in current event journalism, but he’s an accomplished weather reporter too? My cup runneth over, y’all, fuck. And seriously, silly New Yorkers, stay indoors where it’s safe (not sure how grave this whole drizzling thing is becoming), and until Irene blows over, sign off the internet please because you never know if there’s going to be some sort of electrical surge in the storm!
Folks, my betrothed is no longer in danger!

Guess what I gave the Colin Firth/Julianne Moore POS on Netflix. Should they ever receive more than the twin stars?!
Should have listened to Dan Kois & Choire Sicha.
