My iPod Touch logged the above update several days ago from The Awl’s newsstand app, but all I could translate was “CHOIRE” (bless our nightmarish dystopic existences here, the internet has something for everyone including a freakin’ morse code translator). Anyone else know what this message says?
Did you know there is a Flickr group called Beer and Sunsets? Did you know nobody loves a sunset like Choire? (“nobody loves a sunset like me!”)
As a former actual curator, of like, actual art and whatnot, I think I’m fairly well positioned to say that you folks with your blog and your Tumblr and your whatever are not actually engaged in a practice of curation. Call it what you like: aggregating? Blogging? Choosing? Copyright infringing sometimes? But it’s not actually curation, or anything like it.

Guess what I gave the Colin Firth/Julianne Moore POS on Netflix. Should they ever receive more than the twin stars?!
